At the prestigious Enero Costanera venue in Buenos Aires, alongside Gonzalo and Nicolás Pieres were Bautista Bayugar and Ignatius Du Plessis, the new additions to the team for this season. Ellerstina Yellow Rose was unveiled for the upcoming polo season in Argentina, with the players presenting the new official jersey and discussing their expectations for the year ahead.
“Gonzalo Pieres expressed his enthusiasm about beginning to play with this new team, stating, ‘We’re eager to kick off in the best possible way and aim to go as far as we can,’ during the event attended by various figures.
This season, the esteemed Ellerstina team, renowned for winning numerous championships, including multiple editions of the Argentine Polo Open, is supported by Yellow Rose, a polo club founded in 1996 in Punta del Este by Jorge ‘Corcho’ Rodríguez. He was among the many celebrities present at the event, alongside his partner Vero Lozano.”
Continuing its commitment to support the growth of international polo in Argentina and Uruguay, since 2021, the institution has expanded its polo organization in Argentina and formed an alliance with Ellerstina. This partnership brings together a young, vibrant team with potential, enthusiasm, and robust organizational support, aiding in the development of players and their future prospects.
With the absence of Facundo Pieres, who opted to join the La Natividad quartet this season, the team now comprises Nicolas Pieres, Bautista Bayugar, Gonzalo Pieres, and “Nachi” Du Pressis, achieving a handicap of 35 goals.
The anticipation is high for the Argentine Triple Crown, featuring prestigious tournaments such as the Hurlingham Open, Tortugas Open, and Argentine Polo Open Championship.
Ellerstina was joined by its sponsors for this presentation: Yellow Rose, Jeep, Gibson, and RUS. Additionally, they have the support of AlUla, Stella Artois, Sierra de los Padres, Enero Restaurant, Johnnie Walker, Clos de los Siete, and Aconcagua. Grupo La Roca
