A delegation from the Arab-Islamic Ministerial Committee on Gaza met with French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot in Paris on Friday to discuss ending Israel’s war on Gaza and advancing peace efforts in the region.

The meeting, which was held at the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, was attended by representatives from various Arab and Islamic countries, including Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. The delegation was led by the Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit.

During the meeting, the delegation expressed their deep concern over the ongoing violence and humanitarian crisis in Gaza, which has resulted in the loss of innocent lives and destruction of infrastructure. They also reiterated their support for the Palestinian people and their right to self-determination.

The French Foreign Minister welcomed the delegation and praised their efforts in finding a peaceful solution to the conflict in Gaza. He emphasized the importance of international cooperation in ending the violence and promoting stability in the region.

The delegation and the French Foreign Minister discussed various ways to end the Israeli aggression on Gaza and bring about a lasting ceasefire. They also explored ways to provide humanitarian aid and support to the people of Gaza who have been severely affected by the conflict.

The Arab-Islamic Ministerial Committee on Gaza also presented a proposal for a comprehensive peace plan, which includes the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital. The plan also calls for the lifting of the Israeli blockade on Gaza and the return of Palestinian refugees to their homes.

The French Foreign Minister expressed his support for the proposal and stressed the need for all parties to work towards a peaceful resolution of the conflict. He also reaffirmed France’s commitment to the two-state solution and its role in promoting peace and stability in the Middle East.

The meeting concluded with a joint statement by the delegation and the French Foreign Minister, calling for an immediate end to the violence in Gaza and the resumption of peace talks between Israel and Palestine. They also urged the international community to take concrete steps to support the Palestinian people and help them rebuild their lives.

The delegation expressed their gratitude to the French government for their support and for hosting the meeting. They also thanked the French Foreign Minister for his efforts in advancing peace in the region and for his commitment to finding a just and lasting solution to the conflict in Gaza.

The meeting between the Arab-Islamic Ministerial Committee on Gaza and the French Foreign Minister is a significant step towards ending the violence and promoting peace in the region. It sends a strong message of unity and solidarity among Arab and Islamic countries in support of the Palestinian cause.

The delegation’s visit to Paris also highlights the importance of international cooperation in resolving conflicts and promoting peace. It is a reminder that the international community has a responsibility to protect innocent lives and work towards a better future for all.

The Arab-Islamic Ministerial Committee on Gaza and the French Foreign Minister have set a positive example for other countries to follow. Their commitment to finding a peaceful solution to the conflict in Gaza is a ray of hope for the Palestinian people and a step towards a brighter and more peaceful future for the entire region.
