Hezbollah vows to retaliate if Israel continues attacks in Lebanon

Hezbollah’s leader, Naim Kassem, issued a stern warning on Tuesday, stating that the Lebanese group would not hesitate to retaliate if Israel continues to escalate its attacks. This statement comes as tensions between the two countries have reached a boiling point, with Israel launching multiple airstrikes on Lebanese territory in recent weeks.

Kassem’s warning was delivered during a press conference in Beirut, where he addressed the recent attacks by Israel and the ongoing conflict between the two nations. He stated that Hezbollah would not stand idly by while Israel continues to violate Lebanese sovereignty and target its people.

The Hezbollah leader also criticized the Lebanese government for not taking a stronger stance against Israel’s aggression. He called on the government to take immediate action to protect its citizens and to stand in solidarity with the resistance against Israeli aggression.

Kassem’s warning comes as Lebanon’s Cabinet was meeting to discuss the recent attacks by Israel. The Cabinet has condemned the airstrikes and has called on the international community to intervene and put an end to Israel’s aggression.

The recent escalation of violence began on July 20th when Israel launched airstrikes on southern Lebanon, claiming to be targeting Hezbollah’s positions. However, the attacks resulted in the deaths of two Lebanese civilians and caused significant damage to civilian infrastructure.

Since then, Israel has continued to carry out airstrikes on Lebanese territory, with the most recent attack occurring on Monday, targeting a village in the Bekaa Valley. These attacks have sparked outrage among the Lebanese people, who have taken to the streets to protest against Israel’s actions.

Hezbollah, a Shia Islamist political party and militant group, has been a key player in the ongoing conflict between Lebanon and Israel. The group has a strong presence in southern Lebanon and has been a thorn in Israel’s side for decades.

Kassem’s warning serves as a reminder that Hezbollah will not back down in the face of Israeli aggression. The group has proven its resilience and determination in the past, and it is clear that they will not hesitate to defend their land and people.

The Hezbollah leader also called on the international community to take a stand against Israel’s actions and to hold them accountable for their aggression. He emphasized that the Lebanese people have the right to defend themselves and their land from any foreign aggression.

The ongoing conflict between Lebanon and Israel has caused significant damage and loss of life on both sides. It is imperative that the international community takes immediate action to de-escalate the situation and prevent further violence.

In conclusion, Naim Kassem’s warning serves as a reminder that Hezbollah will not stand idly by while Israel continues to violate Lebanese sovereignty. The group’s determination to defend their land and people is unwavering, and they will not hesitate to retaliate if necessary. It is time for the international community to take a stand against Israel’s aggression and work towards a peaceful resolution to the ongoing conflict.
